Small form factor network monitoring

Designed to run Nagios Core (Open Source) monitor program. The built in temperature and humidity sensor is ideal for any server room, telco closet, or data center. The VetMon-1 is typically configured to monitor all servers, workstations, switches, routers, firewalls, etc. using popular open source software applications.

How it works

WIRELESS

Wireless capable however generally installed on a network using standard CAT 6 network cable

SIMPLE SETUP

If the setup and installation package is purchased setting up on the internal network is a simple install.

ENERGY EFFICIENT

The small foot print low power consumption built in Raspberry Pi is very energy efficient. Note, the battery pack that is sold with this unit has an "actual" run time of 12 - 15 hours.

SIMPLE DESIGN

Straight forward purpose built Nagios based appliance with excellent internal temperature management via large heat sync, CPU fan, and vents

EASY CONTROL

Once configured, generally managed using a web interface. Linux CLI is generally used  to install and configure the device.

HIGHLY COMPATIBLE

Designed to concurrently run other popular open source apps; MRTG, RANCID, Cacti, etc

Couple of "old school" IT guys that have been actively working in the "field" for 20+ years that has successfully deployed these devices to our own businesses customer base for the last several years. This cost effective reliable solution has been so well received that we decided offer our solution and related services on a built to order basis until the demand increases to the point that we have to pursue other means of developing and  manufacturing.  

NEXT RELEASES

VetMon - 2 will be cell enabled to allow for limited monitoring during power outages. Design target; timing "when" to go back into the office, better logging during the outage, and using the device to validate everything is powered back up and functioning appropriately.
